As the year is coming to the end I was sitting thinking about this last year and I can't quite believe that it is nearly over.  I thought it was a good time as any to reflect back on what has been happening on MyBeautySleuth over the last 12 months.  I have to say I have really enjoyed the last year and how much joy this little blog has given me and I can't wait for 2015 and here are the top 5 blog posts from 2014 (according to the counter).......

1. Supermodel like hair? Schwarzkopf Ultime

The shampoo which gave great shine for coloured hair that made it look and feel like a supermodel for a day.  We can only dream .....

2. Garnier Ultimate Blends Collection

A new collection on the block to tame the fizz and fly aways and keep my hair looking sleek and slick.  The coconut oil has a scent that is heavenly and has been staple in my hair care routine the last year.

3. YSL Dupe? L'oreal Extraordinaire By Colour Riche

A great budget dupe / find for the YSL hybrid lipstick / lip glosses.  Was it just me but it seemed to be that every brand had one of this type of lipstick glosses out this year?  A great combination of lipstick / stain and gloss in one.

4. Limited Edition Beautiful Nars Blusher in New Attitude

Nars has to be one of my all time favourite brands and all I can say is how beautiful this blusher is.  A lovely shade pale pink that goes with everything.

5. Maybelline colorsensational lipstick in 132 sweet pink

I was pleasantly surprised with this lipstick and if you are looking for a quick high street pickup this will be just down your street as they are so affordable.  This shade is the sweetest pink!

As you will all know by now I am a bit obsessed with nail polish and as part of my christmas present from my sister she picked up this new polish from Models Own.  Perfect for New years eve as it has ultra fine diamond dust particles giving a hint of glitter without being to over the top and too difficult to remove.  A really easy polish to apply and with two coats it gives a great finish.  There are 10 different shades in this new range called diamond luxe at £4.99 they are great value for money and worth checking out.

It has been really busy month December with lots going on and it does not leave much time for anything else.  I am not normally a person who buys something just because it is endorsed by a celeb, a blogger or anyone in the press.  But I have to say that this is a really great product and the best dry shampoo that I have used I can see why Ruth Crilly from a Model Recommends has put this product out with Colab.

There are 5 different designs with different scents and they are named after cities London, Paris, Tokyo, Rio and New York there is no difference in the actually product just different scents.  I firstly picked up London, which is a classic scent with Bergamot, Musk and Magnolia from Beauty Mart at £3.49 for 200ml it is also available at Superdrug and Feel Unique and in a smaller 50ml travel size.

What I love about this product is that it has a sheer and clear formula as I have dip dyed hair I can't use coloured dry shampoos or they often leave white residue and you have to brush a lot to get it out.  I am slightly addicted to this product as it is really light weight and does not leave that Matt powdery chalky finish which a lot of dry shampoos do plus the scent gives you that just washed hair without the wash.  I have nearly used it all up so yesterday I picked up Paris which is a floral fragrance of Jasmine, Rose and patchouli and it is just as good this is one great product range!

Makeup Revolution Is the new kid on the block and they have really made a mark on the high street.  Due to their affordability factor and huge range of products they have got a lot going on!  So far everything I have purchased I have loved and can not fault the price or products.  The blushing hearts blusher is a triple baked blush and part of the I love makeup range where there are different blushers including a high lighter and a bronzer all set in the shape of a 3d heart how cute.  Some people speculate it to be a dupe of another famous brand but I can't comment as I have nothing to compare against.

This is the deal it is a Peachy gold blusher and has 3 different colours that you mix on the brush to create a smooth application.  One thing I like about this product is the amount you get it is really good for the price of £4.99 and lasts a long time.  I apply this with my real techniques duo fibre brush as it gives a light application which you then can build to the level and look you want.  On the skin it has a peachy gold sheen which is perfect for the current party season and looks great in the light.

Have you tried Makeup Revolution?

When its Christmas time I don't know about you but I like to switch up my candles for a more festive scent.  Well when I do I always go to Yankee candle as they have the best festive selection available with great prices as well.

My current two favourites are Fall Glory and frosted cinnamon, I picked these both up in the votive size which are perfect as they  last around 15 hours burning time each which is just enough for the festive period and at just over a £1 they are really good value for money!

Frosted cinnamon is a festive blend of cinnamon and cloves and Fall glory has the scent of dark berries, sweet plums, apples and warm spices.  These both bring a really Christmas scent to the house which is warming which I love.  There are lots of different christmas scents available these are just two of them I picked them up at my local Asda.

Whats your favourite Christmas scent?

While my sister was in America last year she brought me back a few cosmetics that I wanted and after using this on and off for a regular time I wanted to share my thoughts with you all.

I am really happy that she picked this up for me as I was not disappointed with the quality or how pretty it is.  Physicians formula if you have not heard of it is a drug store / high street store brand which is only really available in the USA, sometime you see the odd piece in TK Maxx or on Amazon but overall it is not sold in the UK yet.  As it is hard to get hold of it I really wanted to try it out and this was on my list of must have products to try mainly due to the super cute hearts.

First up the packaging in super cute with the pink metallic finish, it is split into two parts blusher on the top and a mirror and brush in the bottom section.  This means it is really handy for travel as it is really compact, to be honest I am not a fan of the brush and it would be better if the mirror was in the lid as you have to keep flip the blusher over to use it whites annoying and the brushes poor quality.

The blusher itself is made up of lots of different shaped hearts in different shades, when you swirl a brush on it it then blends them together creating a healthy glow when applied to the skin.  I would definitely recommend this blusher to anyone who was a healthy glow appearance as it is light and glowy on the skin.

The blusher comes in four different shades and it is infused with their mood boasting blend to promote healthy skin and euphoria.  The idea is that the plant extracts used promote a feeling of happiness.  The blusher is scented with violet to encourage feelings of Joy every time you apply it.  I am not really convinced with this side of the product as not really seen any difference but overall I think it is really pretty product and gives a glow finish to the skin when applied.

Have you tried any of Physicians formula products?

As we are getting close to Christmas I thought I would switch up my nails to something a little more festive.  So when I picked up this months copy of Marie Claire I was really excited to see a mini bottle of Ciate confetti nail polish as it is really festive, there are 3 types with the magazine I got the silver.  I put just 3 coats of this on it's own with a top and base coat to give really sparkly nails.  This is the first Ciate nail polish I have used and I have to say I am impressed.  I have loads of glitter polishes but this has to be one of the best as it catches the light and is really easy to apply and deposits lots of particles.

I love glitter polishes apart from having to remove them as they are so versatile you can wear on their own or as a top coat played on top of another polish.

Have you tried any Ciate polishes?

The one thing I like about OPI nail polishes is the shade range, there is always something different that you can't get anywhere else.  Diva from Geneva has been around for a few years now as was originally realised as part of the Swiss collection.  I had completely forgot I had this but when shopping my stash for a Christmas polish this jumped straight out at me.  I think you still can pick this up on Amazon or discount websites for around £5/£6.  One thing I really like about this polish is the two tone shade it is a red based purple and has a foil like finish with almost a gold undertone to it.

I know OPI nail polishes can be expensive they can be picked up on discount websites like fragrance direct but they are worth it as the quality and shade range is excellent.  They are really quick drying and glide on so the finish is really smooth due to the wide brushes.  Above is only two coats of the polish and the colour just pops!

What is your favourite OPI nail polish?

Unless you have been living under a beauty rock for the past year you would know that its all about the nude lip and specifically the Kylie Jenner Lip.  If you are looking to recreate this look then I would say the ultimate lip pencil is Soar by Mac.   It is a Matt effect pinky gold lip pencil which goes on smoothly and non drying.  Soar is one of the regular lip pencils by Mac but I find its really lasts a long time at least 4 hours and it is good underneath any pink, nude or on its own or with lip gloss the possibilities are endless.  It is such a versatile lip product which is kinda of annoying as I having been wearing it most days!

    What's your favourite lip pencils?

If you have not already got yours don't fret there is still time for you to pick up your Christmas sweater.  For the third year running Save the children charity are asking people to make the world a better place by wearing a sweater for the day.  The idea is you wear your Christmas sweater on Friday 12th December and donate £2 to save the children via their website or by text link here for more information.  I know I will so what are you waiting for....

My top picks are this lovely snowman jumper from Marks and Spencer at £28 above link

This grey sweatshirt from Topshop £46 and this sweater at Asda is a £10 and a steal! also check out Primark and Tesco for good value jumpers!

Well hello after a short break due to house renovations and tech issues I will now be back to my regular posting schedule Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5.30am.  So with no further a do here is a much over due what's on my Nails post.

A classic colour and being we are now in the sparkle season here is a lovely grey sparkle shade.  This polish originally was released in 2010 as part of the Swiss collection if you remember but is now part of the classics collection due to its popularity.

I really like this shade and have been rocking it for the past couple of weeks it is a metallic grey shimmer with a blue / green undertone.  My only annoyance is how long the name is as it is a really mouthful!  I have also been loving this NO7 Top coat that I picked up with my Boots £3 off voucher making it £3 bargain!

What will you be rocking this Party season?

    3 November 2014

Have you checked out Makeup Revolution the newest brand on the block if you have not you must do it is available at Superdrug and the brands website click here.  There are over 300 pieces in the collection which start from £1  yes really a £1.  If you are familiar with MUA cosmetics then your will love this brand.  Now I did pick up a couple of things when I found it in Superdrug and this was one of the items I picked up the Powder Blush in the shade Now.  This really was a bargain at a price of £1 I thought you can't go wrong.  The packaging yes is not Uber glamorous and it is plastic and very simple but it does its job and what do you expect for a £1.

The blusher is of a grainy texture to touch however when applied to the cheek it goes on smoothly it is really pigmented and has a sheen of gold in the pink looks great with my tan.  I have been using the Real Techniques multi tasking brush to apply on to the apple of my cheek and then sweep it up along the cheek bone.  I would say it has around a four hours wear time so needs to reapplied at lunchtime.  This has been a firm favourite in my makeup bag over the last month as it has really complemented my tan.

Have you tried any of these blushes?

    20 October 2014

One of my favourite things to do when I am at the airport is beauty shopping.  The selections are normally very extensive and you can pick up so great buys.  I recently went on holidays so took full advantage of this and probably spent a tad more than I was originally planning but they are soo tempting I could not leave them be so here is what I picked up.....

My first stop was perfume where I picked up the Chanel Coco Mademoiselle purse spray now this is my signature fragrance and it is always much cheaper on Duty free I picked this up for £47 and it is normally £64.  This is the Eau de Toilette which comes with 3 refills of 20 ml a really handy handbag size which you can take anywhere.

Next up I picked up the Creme De Le Mer lip balm which I have confess I picked up on a whim not knowing anything about it.  I have nearly finished my CD rose balm which is no longer made (silent sob).  Unfortunately I have got used to a super deluxe lip balm and wanted another one! this I thought was a good buy at £35 instead of £42  another good saving! I have not tried it yet so will keep you updated.

Then last stop and a must have in my opinion is the Mac counter as we all know Mac discounts are rare and far between so I always pick up a couple of bits when in duty free this time I got two lip pencils Mac pro long wear lip pencil In Anticipation and pro long wear lip pencil Staunchly Stylish as I have been wanting to channel the Kylie Jenner lip look I had seen on Pixie woo video (check it out) and wanted some neutral lip liners to go with the Twig lipstick that I also picked up.  I am loving this Twig lipstick paired with Staunchly Stylish.  the lip liners were around £12.50 instead of £15 and the lipstick around the same unfortunately I seem to have lost the receipt! oops

What do you pick up at Duty free?

    17 October 2014

A busy week back at work after a lovely two weeks holiday seems a distant memory now so I thought I would show what's on my face as it's been a while....

I started of my base with Chanel Perfection Lumiere velvet in shade no 30 then used Nars radiant creamy Concealer in Honey which I love really great product! No powder at the moment as I have been using the Sleek Highlighting and contouring palette to give definition followed by the physicians formula happy booster in Rose on the cheeks.

On to the brows very important I use the Sleek brow stylist to fill in any gaps I really like the waxy consistency of this product followed by Maybelline brow drama to set them in place.

Now on to the eyes I have been using a Mac pencil in brun which I have had a while I know you get get this anymore such a shame as a good dark brown I have been using this on the upper outer lash line to give extra definition along with Nars eyeshadow duo in Surabaya which I am in love with just such lovely colours,

To finish the look I popped this matt lipstick from Makeup revolution in Bliss which for a £1 is a bargain!

    13 October 2014

After having gels on my nails for the duration of my holidays when I returned I decided to crack out my nail sensation kit and renewed my mani with this fuse nail shade.  A lovely bright red shade called electric or pop great to go with my tan.  If you have not heard of nail sensation it is a at home gel nail kit from Boots, which gives you salon quality gel nails that last up to two weeks.

Now I slightly cheat as I use the clear base & top coat which comes in the nailsenation kit with this Fuse polish which Technical you don't need but I like to give added longevity to my mani.  Technically the fuse collection already includes the base and Top coat and so you only need to do is apply one polish I did two thin coats as I find this works best and gives the best finish as you can see super shiny long lasting nails!  This polish is around £15 which yes seems more expensive than a regular polish however you will normally pay £20/£25 for this to be completed in the salon if you use it multiple times it then is much more cost effective!

    15 September 2014

I have been a fan of Revlon nail polishes for many years and they were one of the first nail polishes I bought many many years ago.  When they launched a new range color stay gel envy I knew I had to try it and see what the deal was.  Step forward #320 Full house a beautiful intense colour which is like a duck egg blue with a hint of green to it.  Now the range comes in 30 different shades along with a top coat as well.  The idea is a two part system of a combined base and colour polish and then you finish of with the top coat.  Personally I still use a base coat as I am always using bright colours and don't want to stain the nails.  The consistency of the polish is thick but not gloppy and it comes with a great wide brush that you quickly sweep over the nails giving a good finish and is easy to use.  As you can see in the bottom picture this is what one coat looks like not bad if you were in a hurry! I really like how shiny this looks which is were the comparison to gel polish comes from and the polish held up pretty well, probably would last longer with the top coat! I will have to pick it up and keep you all updated.  One other thing to mention is the drying time is really quick which is great if you are in a hurry or impatient like me.

Have you tried any of these polishes?

    1 September 2014

I have to say that I love a nude polish they make great everyday colours that you can't go wrong with.  Eternal optimist by Essie (£7.99) is the latest addition to my collection.  It is a very pretty dusty / nude salmon pink shade that is just really easy to wear.  If you have not tried any of the Essie polishes before they are really easy to apply with a good wide flat brush and have good durability.  Overall I think they are worth the extra couple of pounds.  This shade comes out not too sheer above I used two coats and got a good coverage.  I can see why it is a classic colour and been part of the collection for a while now.

Have you tried any of the Essie Polishes?

At what age do you start to use anti ageing products? this is a dilemma that I have been thinking alot about over the last year. As I am in my thirties and no longer in my carefree twenties, Is it time to prevent ready for later down the line? I think everyone has different skin and knows there skin best but my trigger point was that I started to get a couple of fine lines under eyes which to most people they probably can't see but to me I can see them in the mirror everyday staring back at me.  That's when I started to use eye cream religiously and thought I would try out they new Protect and Perfect advance serum.

Now it does not I Admit look like the biggest tube 30ml of product for £23.95 and with a £5 off coupon I scoped it up in my Boots basket and brought it home with me.  Now it does come in two strengths normal and intense the later being recommended for people in their late thirties and 40's I picked up the regular.  Now hard to believe it was 7 years ago when everyone stampeded to boots to pick up the original product and it was a instant hit.  Since then boots have continued to develop their product which has resulted in this more effective serum +30% vrs previous formula being launched this year which is more advanced.

My main concern was fine lines and this product after using for around 2 months twice a day morning and night. I have seen my fine lines disappear not completely but quite dramatically to the point I feel if I continue to use this product for the next few months they could well go!  Annoyingly I should of taken some before and after pics but sadly did not!  The formula is lightweight, dries really quickly and does not irritate my skin.  Surprisingly you only need a pea size amount and so the tube is lasting longer than I initially expect.  I have to say I have been really impressed with this product and can see real results.  It is definitely here to stay in my skincare routine.  Funny enough I have been asked for I.d 3 times in the last 8 weeks (I am 32) so it must be making me look more youthful and radiant!

Have you tried the No7 Protect and Perfect serum?

    20 August 2014

I know we all at some point get lured into buying high end beauty / makeup products for various reasons, if it is the packaging to the campaign or the product.  I am definitely a sucker for packaging the shinier the better as far as I am concerned.  But one thing I rarely splurge on is mascara as I am a firm believe there is not much difference in high end to high street.

A couple of months ago Lancome were celebrating their 10year anniversary for Hypnose mascara and I picked this doll eyes one up for £10 Bargain right!  Now this has virtually come to the end and I really liked it and so I needed a replacement as it is normally £22.50.  Step in L'oreal black angel miss manga mascara at £8.99 in black this is when I discovered it was a Dupe for the Lancome.  If you don't know what a dupe is they are high street versions of high end products where you get more for your money!

I have to say these two products could be twins with both mascaras they are cone shaped brushes which you can see look the same in shape and size.  They both give that wide eye look with lengthening and lift and a little volume.  Formula wise they are pretty much the same maybe the Lancome just is a smidgen wetter but not that noticeable and both do not smudge and last all day.  Who knew you could get the same effects for a fraction of the price!

When I was thinking about doing this post, the first thing that came into my mind was that there would be 5 different red nail polishes.  But then when I pulled out my favourites from my collection that I have been wearing this summer there was actually only 1 red nail polish.   I had totally forgotten I had actually been wearing pinks, oranges and reds on the nail front.  So here are my top 5 summer polishes....

    1. Maybelline peach smoothie  a good nude orange and a great price and this my second bottle!
    2. No7 pink blossom this a pretty matt pink which dries really quickly and has wide brush.
    3. Kiko shade 282 again quick drying plus only about £3 this has a nice sheen to it.
    4. sephora X shade Uber love love this bright red and one of the longest lasting formulas.
    5. Barry M Gelly in Papaya super shinny and glossy looking and inexpensive.

What are your favourite summer polishes?

    13 August 2014

When I was looking for a day cream  a couple of months ago, I had actually gone into boots to buy the new olay luminous moisturiser and I stumbled upon this L'oreal version which has been out for quite a while but to me seemed the same idea.  I was after a cream that would help my dull and tired skin and give it a boost and look more radiant.  You get 50 ml of product for around £10.99 (on offer full price £15.99) so 1/3 the price of the Olay which is why I was sold on it.  It comes in this silver like packaging and a pretty simple pot so yes not the most hygienic!

So the science bit ....... The idea is there is to crack the skin care code and after 30 years of research this cream is aimed 30-40 year olds who are looking for a more youthful skin.  The aim is to target genes that contribute to skin pigmentation, unevenness and luminosity and give a hydrated dewy radiant finish exactly what I was looking for.

As you can see in the picture above the cream has a light weight pearlised finished to it which essentially creates the dewy luminous finish.  I have to say after using this for around 8 weeks and actually finishing the product my skin is pretty much the same.  It makes your skin dewy for the first couple of hours then fades away and as I don't have any sun spots or pigmentations I can't see that it has really made an impact.  However the cream is light weight and sinks into the skin very quickly and for £10 it is not bad as a moisturiser but not the most amazing cream I have used.

    Have you cracked the code?

    8 August 2014

It appears I have a bit of a bumper post of empties having not done this last month I have combined my empties for June and July so here we go......

First up we have hair and Body products:

Herbal Essence Bee Strong shampoo, conditioner 400ml size and mask all I can say is I love this range of products and have already repurchased them as they are great value. They make your hair smell incredible and just work really well I have done a full review of the mask here.  Then you have The Body Shop Peppermint intensive foot rescue this is a lovely pink thick cream that smells of peppermint which is hydrating and cooling on the feet.  At £9 for 100 ml it is a little pricey but you don't need much and so it lasts awhile.  It is not very often I actually finish a fragrance which says a lot when I do this is the Burberry Body Body mist which is alcohol free meaning it is great for summer and can be spritiz to my hearts content, it is also a good bargain at under £20 and personally I can't see the difference from the perfume.

    Next up it is skincare:

If I was unable to travel to france regularly or I ran out of my much loved Bioderma H2O this would definitely be my number one choice for Micellar water (see review here).  I have a love of waterproof mascaras as I tend to touch my eyes alot so I always use a eye makeup remover in addition and when this Garnier one came out I was keen to try it but I have to say I think I will be sticker with the L'oreal version as it is a bit more sensitive.  I have a whole post comparing the two check it out if you have not already here.  Next up a cult classic Embryolisse  lait-creme concentre I have to say I expected more as it is actually quite a basic cream that is great under makeup but not as your main day cream.  Clarins Gentle refiner travel size I really like this and will definitely be buying the full size as it a great facial scrub.  Bioderma repair hand cream one that I had picked up in France this was a good handbag size which is always handy to have.  Last but by no means least is Hydraluron serum a great winter product as it helps to boast hydration and I am really intrigued by the new Gelly moisturise so this will definitely be a winter staple.

I just wanted to include this candle as I have been loving it from Copenhagen Candle company in French lavender this has been really relaxing and fills the house.  I picked it up at Homesense for around £6.99 and as you can see I have got my moneys worth out of it.  It also comes with a lovely silver lid which I really like as it stops the dust getting in but I have kept it to use on top of another candle!

What have you been using up this month?

Hello, So I thought it was time to do a July favourites post. July was pretty hectic for me as I seemed to have lots of social engagements which meant less time for blogging! So lets talk about the best things this month...

As I mentioned I was going out a lot during July and my Bioderma H2O was a huge staple for me followed by a spritz of Serozinc by La Roche-Posay it stopped my skin from getting any breakouts and coping with the stress of partying well.  Secondly I have started to use the No7  Protect and Perfect advanced serum that came out as I had been beginning to see a few fine lines and wow I love this product (I will do a full post soon)  Then on my hair due to the heat I have been using Markhill Bedazzled anti-humidity spray love this product as it really stops my hair from frizzing out of control and gives great shine (full post here).  Last up was Dolce & Gabbana Intense eau de perfume as it just smells really sexy (full review here).

What have been your favourite products this month?

I really don't like negative reviews but unfortunately this product just did not float my boat.  I love Soap and Glory they make some great body products and makeup so had high hopes when I purchased this number from the skin care range.  Scrub your nose in it come in a 100ml size £9 available at Boots.  Apparently this used to be cheaper and come in a bigger sized bottle but when they repackaged it to the lovely white it was made smaller and slightly more expensive not sure why.

So this is know as the spotty girls favourite as it is a combination of scrub and mask formula with pore refining and AHA formula.  This is meant to be great for combination and oily skin so I thought great as sometimes my skin is combination and I love a scrub I thought I would give it a whirl.    So the texture of this  scrub is a thick paste which can be either massaged in like a scrub or left on the t-zone as a mask.

It contains natural Japanese fruits which brighten the skin, a type of mud to unclog the pores, AHA acids and clay to absorb the excess oils.  Phew what a mouth full so according to the box it is an all singing all dancing kind a product that has multi purposes.  Using it as a scrub I actually like how it makes your skin feel after you have used it as it feels really clean.  But I just can't get over the smell of the product as you feel like you are just putting on toothpaste on to your face as it has the same consistency, colour and scent.  I have tried to use this product on multiple occasions but I just can't get around this overpowering mint scent in a bad way as I actual like mint.  If they could change the smell to a different kind of mint I could like this product but for me I just can't such a shame it is soo overpowering maybe you could use it if you have a cold.

Unfortunately I have been a little MIA this last month from this blog wholly due to how busy I have been with weddings and other events in my life and work.  Well fear not I am now back for the rest of the summer and this is what has been on my face last week!

    1. Bioderma hydrabio light cream - I have just started using this so far so good
    2. Kiko Mat base correction primer - with the heat this is a must have to stop the makeup sweating all over your face I use just in the T-zone.
    3. Bourjois Happy light foundation in shade 52 - really nice and light weight and lasts pretty well
    4. Sleek brow stylist in dark brown see my review here great product!
    5. Mac eyeshadow palette - This is a empty palette which I then take shades out of my 15 palette at the moment I have (left to right, Top then Bottom) Antiqued, Mulch, Honesty and brule.
    6. Miss Manga Mascara in black angel (extra black mascara)
    7. Maybelline Brown drama in dark brown as I still need to uses a tamer
    8. Nars creamy concealer in Honey light3
    9. Hourglass Ambient lighting blush in Dim Infusion

Earlier on in the year I had been using the lovely The Body Shop Brazil nut scrub and when I ran out unfortunately I could not get hold of it so there I was back on the search for a good body scrub.  I don't know about you but I like quite a gritty scrub as I like to feel it work the skin.  I picked up this Garnier Body Tonic smoothing scrub in the Supermarket (£3.57 on offer) as it was newish and from an initial wif smelt pretty good so it past the test.  It has a really fruity smell in a nice way not to manufactured or sweet.  This scrub left me with really noticeable results after the first use it left my skin really soft and the more I use it the better my skin looks and much smoother.  This is because the formula has sugar crystals inside which really work the skin and give a good exfoliation of the skin.  I am hard to please when it comes to scrubs as I like them gritty and this one is definitely a thumbs up from me!

If you saw my recent post 'Mini Sephora haul' (click here ) you will have seen I picked up this little bad boy.  I can't tell you how many times I have seen Tiffany D and several other You tubers rave about this polish and wanted to get my hands on one to try.  Unfortunately even though Sephora now shops to the UK you can't buy polish (boohoo) so when I went on a recent Jaunt to France this was the fist thing I made a beeline for in Sephora.  I picked up the Shade UBER which to me suggests tough and masculine, but no it is this bright almost neon orange/red that just pops.  Formula X range was new last year to Sephora and as I only have this one and nothing to compare it to I can not rave too much (yeah) only to say that I was not disappointed.  They give a really high shine gel finish I used two coats but one would of done I am just not the application pro so like two coats for making it even, it has really good staying power and I did not use a Top coat yep they are that shiny without!  Next time I will be stocking up on more colours love these polishes.
