B.STUNNING VIRBRANT EYE SHIMMER IN BITTERSWEET

Well after a crazy week at work and life getting in the way of blogging I am back with the a new post!  I love wearing cream eye shadows as they are long lasting and great as eye shadow bases.  This brings me to the B range from superdrug.  A brand exclusive to superdrug, it is vegan and vegetarian friendly along with dermatologically tested.  Now I was attracting to this eyeshadow as it is a bronzy colour and thought it would work under a couple of eyeshadows I had.

As you can see it is a russet / bronze shade with a red/gold undertone to it.  The packaging is nothing to rave about as just in a practical plastic pot with grey lid.  I would say it typically lasts around 4/5 hours on my oily lid without a primer so not bad.  It has a really rich colour which is different from the maybelline colour tattoos on offer. If you want to wear it as a single wash of colour you will need to build the colour with two layers or can be worn sheer as a base.

I just think it is a different shade to what else is available on the high street.  Have you tried any of the B. Range cream eyeshadows?

MAC PRO LONGWEAR PAINT POT IN CONSTRUCTIVIST

I love cream eye shadows as they are so versatile and you can do soo much with them.  Not only can they be used as a single sweep of colour.  They can be a used as a liner, a eye primer and underneath any powder eyeshadow of any kind as a base.  Now I am a huge fan of the maybelline 24hour colour eyeshadows as they are great value for money (see review here) and a good product but they don't have many shades in the UK.  This is my first Mac pro paint pot and I wanted to get something a bit darker than I had already in my collection.

MAYBELLINE COLORSENSATIONAL LIPSTICK IN 132 SWEET PINK

I picked this lipstick up at the same time as the Tantalizing Taupe (link here) the other week and it is from the maybelline core colorsensational range and has been available for some time now.  I am currently having a love of nude lips and this was another variation and soo pretty I had to pick it up.  Available at boots for around £6.99 so not too expensive I think it falls under the pinky nude section of lipsticks.

I have to say I am really impressed by these colour sensational lipsticks and I can see why they are popular.  My only thing is they don't last that long 2-3 hours so you have to keep reapplying due to the glossiness.   Now this shade is quite sheer on and has a hint of pink in it.  I find these are great in this cold weather as they don't dry out your lips as they are glossy and moisturising.  I have been alternating this with the other taupe maybelline lipstick as I  have been rocking the smokey eye this month.

Which is your favourite maybelline lipstick?

LITTLE POT OF CHRISTIAN DIOR ROSE?

As you will have seen by now I am slightly obsessed with Lip balms as like to wear them underneath lipsticks, first thing in the morning and generally all the time when I don't wear lipstick.  As part of my Christmas gifts this year I had asked for this Lip balm as it is very luxurious and expensive so did not feel I could buy it myself!

BOOTS N07 BEAUTIFUL SKIN DAY CREAM

I have had dry skin forever as I can remember and even dryer skin in the Winter.  I am always in my quest to find the perfect day cream which is hydrating and lasts all day without getting patches.  Every few months boots give out money off vouchers for their No7 range either £3 or £5 generally.  I had one of these a few months back and had finished my moisturiser at the time and so I thought I would try out something new.

INTO THE BUFF : MAYBELLINE NUDE ?

If you buy anything this weekend I urge you to check out the new lipstick collection Nude by Maybelline colorsensational.  As you will not be disappointed with these lipsticks, these are part of the colorsensational range called nude and their are 5 lipsticks in total.  They are £6.99 each and I have spotted them at Boots and Superdrug at the moment.   You have the following shades Naked brown, Honey Beige, Coffee craze, Sultry Sand and Tantalizing taupe.  I know in the US these are called 'The Buff' range which  I think are similar but not quite the same as they have different numbers.

I AM IN HEAVEN: BRAZIL NUT BODY SCRUB

I am currently in love with this scrub I picked up, in The Body shop christmas sale for around £5.   I was not expecting much as I am really fussy about a scrub and I am always disappointed.  I really like gritty scrubs that make a difference that I can use twice a week rather than the fine scrubs you can use on a daily basis.

The Brazil nut scrub is described as a cream scrub as it is winter, I thought I would give it a whirl.  I thought with the creamy texture it may add a bit of added moisture and not be to drying on the skin.  The texture of the scrub is thick and creamy with nut shells in tiny pieces inside.  It comes in a 200ml tub, I wish they would make all scrubs in tubes! so they don't get Water in them while you use them in the shower.  This tub approx holds 3 to 4 full body scrubs worth in it depending upon how generous you are.  I love to slather it on so would be quite expensive if full price.  When you have rinsed off the scrub it leaves no residues on the skin and does give a good deep scrub.  I love the smell of this product it has a sweet nutty scent to it, which I just want to lather all over! I love it.

My only issue has to be it leaves a little mess in your bathtub as it leaves the little black particles in the bath everywhere so you have to remember to rinse the shower/bath after use.

Have you tried any of the The Body Shop Scrubs?

SUPERMODEL LIKE HAIR? SCHWARZKOPF ESSENCE ULTIME

Now we all know that supermodels always have amazing hair, as they are constantly being primed and primed using the best products to ensure they look super glossy right.  Well step forward the lovely Claudia Schiffer one of the all time top Supermodels renowned for having beautiful hair.  She has recently collaborated with Schwarzkopf to create a range of shampoos, conditioners, masks, oils and balms for different types of Hair.  Plus their are a couple of hair dyes including Claudia's own hair shade.

I spied this is Boots as I was looking for a new shampoo I had previously been using the Moroccan oil shampoo and could not justify the spend post Christmas in January!  When I stumbled upon this shampoo in boots.  The shampoo is a white colour with a pearl finish to it which you can see in the above photo. Consistency wise it is not too thick, not to thin and you don't have to use a awful lot as it lathers really nicely.  I am a great believer in not using matching shampoo and conditioners as I think You should buy a product to do a specific job and not just because they match.  I had my hair re dip dyed before Christmas and so I was looking for a shampoo for coloured hair.  Which is why I picked this shampoo within the range as it is meant to help with colour fading.  So far I really like this shampoo and they way it leaves my hair as it is soo soft, light weight and shiny.  Overall I am really pleased with this shampoo and it is a bargain for £2.99 (4.99) currently on offer at boots (Link)!

LIMITED EDITION BEAUTIFUL NARS BLUSHER IN NEW ATTITUDE

Nars, Nars oh I love you Nars right got that out of the way yes I love Nars products.  Why may you ask? they are just soo beautiful you can't help not buying them.  I am yet to go and browse a Nars Counter and come back empty handed Yep they are my weakness and I don't think I am alone.   My newest addition to my collection is this blush called New attitude a cherry pink blush.   This forms part of the limited edition final cut collection which was exclusive to Selfridges in the UK.  If I am honest I did not really see much about this collection and kind of stumbles upon it by accident while in selfridges beauty haul one day.

The final cut collection consisted of 4 satin lips, 4 matte blushes and a illuminator all of which are pinks and peachy shades.  I choose this blusher New attitude as it is such a romantic pretty pink colour which is not as scary bright as it looks.  It is actually quite a natural colour when on and really easy to build and blend which means it suits most skin tones.  The other blushes in the collection are Final cut, Sex Fantasy and Love along with the lip pencils Torres del Paine, Descano,Villa Lante and Stourhead.

As you can see it comes in the classic Nars packaging we all know and love not much to say on that front as it is matt black with Nars on it.  This blusher goes on like a dream and does not go patchy you literally just sweep it over your cheeks about twice and you get a lovely look.  It is fairly long lasting and I love the fact it has no shimmer in it so you can use it to create a natural look as you don't always want glitter on your face.  I am sure out of all the collection this one could be duped but I just think it is soo pretty, great quality and long lasting.

Did you manage to pick up anything from the final cut range? what are your favourite Nars products?
