WHATS ON MY NAILS: KIKO #527

My love affair of Kiko polishes continues and if you have not tried or heard of this brand I seriously recommend you do as they have hundreds of shades in the range of polishes quite literally every colour under the rainbow click here.  The one thing I hate to do is wait for polish to dry and these polishes are so quick drying and have great brushes I find I have no mistakes to correct after and last a good few 4-5 days.  This week I have been loving this mermaid sea green colour with a hint of shimmer in it #527 annoyingly their shades have no number so plain old 527 is what I have been rocking love it!

MY GO TO TAN PRODUCTS : ST TROPEZ EVERY DAY

As Summer is approaching it is the time when you have to whip out the old grey legs! So I thought I would share with you my go to products that I used to get me summertime ready.  I have tried lots of different tanning products over the years but I am always brought back to St Tropez.  It is a high end tanner but you can still pick up on deals I bought these two products as a set in Debenhams at around £20 on a blue cross but I have to say these last me a good while.  I would use these once a month and last around 6 months so actually not too expensive.  I love ST. Tropez because I find it is the best match to my skin tone I am around a NC30/ NW25 yellow /medium based tone skin unfortunately you still get the biscuit smell you get, I think it is really hard to get away from that with any fake tan.  My top tips are apply to the body first then use the facial tanner, then wash your hand and then rub the backs of your hands on your arms to pick up a small amount of tan so they don't' look a different shade.  I find the gradual tanner does not go on streaky and I always apply at least 30Mins prior to sleeping to allow it to dry out I am actual waiting for a coat to dry as I am writing this post! If you apply two nights in a row you get the same level of tan as the Original formula without the mess.  I also don't do any pre tanning routine with these products just simply apply it is that easy!

What is your go to Tan product?

KIKO NAIL POLISHES

I am in love with kiko nail polishes! What is not to love they are just so pretty and there are so many to choose from.  If you don't know the brand they are italian professional and fashion brand with a huge range of products, relatively new to the UK with only 4 stores but you can shop from the website click here.  They are famous for their nail polishes and I can see why there are over 200 shades in the core range alone without the special effects, quick drying and nail care in total near on 350 shades.  Now the polishes are currently on offer at £2.50 (bargain) so I picked up these three shades numbers 216 pinky nude with shimmer,298 green glitter,282 and bright pink.  All the shades only have numbers no names a little annoying but you can live with it.  Now you get 11ml of polish in a bottle so pretty genourous and the brushes are fab wide and can sweep the nail in one go.  You do need between two and three coats depending upon the colour but they dry really quick and don't chip for a good few days.  I am definitely going to stock up on some more colours!  Check out my Instagram for more pics.

BOURJOIS 123 PERFECT CC CREAM FOUNDATION REVIEW

Now I have wanted to post this review for a while now but did not want you guys tho think I was jumping on the hype bandwagon that this product has been receiving.   I purchase this a couple of months ago and have been using it on and off since depending upon what coverage I need on my face.

I have to say that Bourjois offer some really great base products with high street prices and high end quality they are impressive with good staying power.  Having previously loved the healthy Mix foundation I was keen to try this new foundation out and see what it offered.

This is the first CC cream that I have tried as I have used BB creams over the last 2 years but never a CC cream so I was intrigued to see what additional it offered to a BB cream and the difference.  So a CC cream is designed to hydrate, cover and correct your skin tone well that seems a lot to promise in one product!  It comes with a SPF 15 and 24hr hydration with 3 different types of correctors in it, which are designed to correct redness, fatigue and dark spots.  Now I have tried applying this with both my fingers and a brush and both work really well and give a good finish if I want to build it to a medium coverage then I use a brush.  It has a really light weight texture and gives a semi matt finish when applied as you can see I use shade 32 light beige which is a good match.  I find it really brightens your skin and works well on my dry skin due to the hydration in the formula.  It comes in 4 different colours light beige is the second shade which I would say is for medium skin tones it is a shame there is not more of a range of shades.  Well done Bourjois another great foundation!

Have you tried cc cream?

WHATS ON MY NAILS: REVLON SUN CANDY IN SOLAR FLARE 430

I recently picked up this lovely polish which is new to the high street / drugstore what do you think?  More lovely colours have hit down as part of the Revlon Nail Art series this time it is called Sun Candy range, which has been inspired by the sun.  I wanted to share with you Solar Flare 430 which is just soo pretty and summery and brings sparkle and shine to my nails when it is grey and wet outside.  The range consists of 10 different colours at £7.99 however I have only seen 6 different ones in Boots / Superdrug, so we will wait and see if the UK gets the others or they are released later in the year.  There are lots of pretty shades including mints, pinks and coral shades I could of bought more than one they are soo pretty!  The polishes are the same concept as the Moon candy you remember where they are dual ended with a colour base in one end and then they have a nail effect in the other in this case it is a sugary glitter.  They are really easy to apply, dry pretty quickly and just such a gorgeous colour!  They have the usual 5 day wear and tear rate so will last you a week.

Would do you think?

BIODERMA VRS GARNIER MICELLAR CLEANSING WATER

There are lots of dupes on the market for the cult Bioderma solution micellaire and I have tried a few over the past year and not one of them has really lived up to the original Bioderma.  That was until I tried the Garnier Micellar cleansing water.  I have heard lots of hype around the blogosphere about this product over the last couple of months and decided I would give it a go.  Now as you can see I am lucky enough to purchase my Bioderma in the 500ml size which I pick up when I am in France twice a year at half the cost.  This bottle in France is around 18 euros for 2 of them compared to £14 in the UK for one yes shocking is it not! So when came along the Garnier version at £4.99 I wanted to give it a run for money.

In case you don't know what Micellar cleansing water is,  they started to pop up last year after everyone went crazy for Bioderma.  They are makeup removers that breaks down your makeup in one swoop and cleanses the face.  I find them to be fairly gentle on the skin but they really great at getting all the grime out of your skin.

Garnier is 400ml vs 500ml for Bioderma both come in clear bottles with pinky lids and both are clear solutions.  To be honest to me they smell the same and work exactly the same to the point I can not tell them apart!  I have used both cleansers and they seem the same and do exactly the same. They are both Hypoallergenic and really very similar I am not sure I will get 200 uses out of the Garnier bottle but we will wait and see!

Definitely worth checking out!
