NARS RADIANT CREAMY CONCEALER IN HONEY

Now this concealer by Nars has gained something of a cult status in the small amount of time that it has been out every Youtuber or blogger raves about this product.  I can see why some may people love it so much, this is actually my second tube of it yep that's right it has been my go to concealer to hide those dark circles.  I am very lucky to not suffer from many spots or blemishes but I do get quite dark circles and this has got to be great at banishing them due to the light reflecting qualities.  It has a creamy texture which if you have dry skin like me it is a life saviour you just have to be careful not to blend it to far out to edge of your eye as it does not sit well in creases which unfortunately I have a few fine lines.  I use the shade honey which is a warm peach tone for light to medium skin tone I would say it is more on the medium than light and it is defiantly worth swatching in the store to find your ideal shade.  At £22.00 it is not cheap but I defiantly think a little goes a long way and it is worth the money I am a big fan.

WHAT'S ON MY NAILS : COZU-MELTED IN THE SUN OPI

I love brightly coloured nail polishes but sometimes I want something a bit more nude or not in your face.  Cozu-melted in the sun from OPI is part of the classics range around £11.99 a bottle as it has been out for a while now (since about 2011 I think) but I still really like it as it is the perfect shade of shimmery copper / beige / pink and which looks like almost rosy gold.  It spreads on like a dream and is quite sheer so 3 coats are necessary but I is just so pretty and reminds me of Nars Orgasm. It is the tiny micro glitter particles which make it shine in the light and looks even better when I have a tan!

Do you own any polish like this?

BOOTS BOTANTICS REFRESHING EYE ROLL-ON

I am always on the look out for new products to try and this caught my eye as it was on half price offer in Boots.  The Botanics range has been revamped and overhauled in the last 12 months due to a partnership with the Royal Kew gardens where Boots scientists work with plant experts at Kew to develop and hand pick the best natural active ingredients to be used within the range.

The product comes in this white squeeze tube with the roller ball dispenser attached I really like this method of dispensing eye gels as it guarantees a cooling application.  This is a light weight clear gel which is really easy to apply and dry's fairly quickly.  It contains hibiscus which means the natural AHA's brighten and gently exfoliate the skin.  When I use this I always make sure I use a SPF moisturiser as your skin can be more sensitive to the light which is fine in the winter months but in the summer you don't want it to cause uneven colour to your face!   I find it to be really refreshing on and cooling to the skin due to the roller ball.  It is really easy to see where it has been applied and you can almost feel it doing its magic the skin definitely looks brighter and wakes up my eyes in the morning.

Have you tried any of the Botanics range?

NO 7 BEAUTIFUL SKIN

The weather has been really cold and windy recently and with that it brings dry skin so I needed something to combat it.  This product No7 Beautiful skin dry skin rescue cream £12.00 has been a little gem for me it is utterly hydrating, soothing and has done wonders to get my skin back to some normality.  It has a medium consistency with a balm like texture and instantly causes flakiness to disappear.  It is a multi purpose product that can be used on any dry patches, I use it on top of my normal moisturiser and it does not effect my makeup application it ensures my skin does not dry out during the day. I love this product such a good winter saviour!

SEPHORA AND FRENCH PHARMACY HAUL

I recently had the pleasure and opportunity to visit Sephora in France whoop whoop every beauty bloggers paradise and a French pharmacy so I thought I would share with you my little Haul.  So I always stock on my favourite cleansing water cult classic Bioderma H20 as it is half the price along with La Roche-Poesy Serozinc which is a wonder when you get upset skin or spots due to the ultra fine zinc sulphate formula it is now available in the UK but it is only €5 in France.

The one thing I like about french skin care is that it is stripped back and not full of lots of additives, unnecessary things or perfumes which is great when you have sensitive skin.  With the winter skin causing havoc with my skin I picked up La Roche-Posey's Hydreane Riche moisturiser which is a great product for sensitive and very dry skin it is super hydrating.  Also in my haul was a twin pack of Uriage hand cream and a twin pack of Nuxe lip balms which I have not used before.

From Sephora I picked up a new shade from the Formula X Range this lovely Lagoon blue called Enigma I will share with you once I have used this.  I also picked up a Makeup forever Aqua shadow pencil in 20E which is a waterproof eye shadow pencil in a soft bronze taupe and another of the Sephora lip creams in 03 Strawberry kissed which is a matt pinky red these are really long lasting!

What's your favourite french pharmacy product?

NOVEMBER/ DECEMBER EMPTIES PART TWO: MAKEUP AND MISC

Here we are back with the second part to my empties posts and this time it is makeup.  So here we go.................

L'Oreal Miss Manga mega volume mascara £8.99 see my full post here this is a really black mascara which adds long lashes and easy to use wand.  I would repurchase this again.

Nars creamy concealer  £22.00   I love this concealer it is really creamy gives good coverage and light reflecting.  Have already repurchased it and is a staple in my makeup bag.

Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara £7.99 I got this free as a gift with purchase and I was really impressed and surprised it how good it was.  It separates the lashes and gives long lashes.  I would buy this again.

Rimmel scandal eyes thick and thin eyeliner £5.49- I was really disappointed with this as it dyed out really quickly and could not get used to the thick thin nib.  I would not repurchase this.

Sleek eyebrow stylist £5.99 - This is a great brow product which is super easy to use and a top buy.   I would repurchase again.

Lancome Hypnose mascara £22.50 - I don't often buy high end mascara's and I only got this one as it was on offer for Lancome's 15 year anniversary.  As I tend to go through mascara's quite quickly and don't see they are that much different to high street mascaras.  This mascara gives really full lashes  but did smudge on my bottom lashes.

The white company Geranium candle £20 - Love The white company candles really great scents.  I have a few different ones on the go at the moment.

The Copenhagen candle - French Lavender- This is one of my favourite candles with a very relaxing scent.

What have you been using up this month?
